Paternity/Maternity
A paternity test is our most common DNA test. It is a genetic test used to determine rather a man is the biological father of a child. It works by comparing DNA of the alleged father to the child to determine if there is a genetic relationship.
A maternity DNA test is used to determine if a woman is the biological mother of the child in question. This is often used in adoption & family law cases.
Grand parentage
A grand parentage DNA test is used when the alleged father is unavailable, deceased, or unwilling to test, and one of his parents are willing to perform a Grandparent DNA test. We will test the parent and child to determine if there is a biological relationship.
Missing parent
A missing parent DNA test is similar to the grandparent test. However, we test both paternal parents when the alleged father is unavailable, missing, deceased, or unwilling to test.
Avuncular (Aunt/Uncle)
An aunt/uncle DNA test allows a full sibling of the alleged father to participate in a DNA test. It verifies if there is a biological relationship between the child & their potential aunt or uncle (sibling of the alleged father) , should the alleged father not be available to test.
Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP) Test
This is a groundbreaking method that allows expecting mothers to determine paternity before the child is born. This test can be performed as early as the 10th week of pregnancy and involves drawing a blood sample from the mother. The sample contains cell-free fetal DNA, which is then compared to the DNA of the alleged father.
Infidelity
If you suspect your partner is being unfaithful, we can test an item that may contain semen to determine that it is indeed semen or test his/her DNA to compare it to an item in question. Call us to see if your sample can be tested.
Postmortem
A postmortem DNA test is performed on a deceased individual to determine if he/she was biologically related to the person in question. This is often used when a person has passed away before establishing paternity and/or the living relatives need to prove biological relationship in order to claim survivor, or other benefits.

Oral/fluid tests have shorter detection times. Depending on the drug used, dose, and route of administration, a drug may be detected in oral fluid in less than one hour and remain detectable for five up to 48 hours after last use. Because PEth is a direct biomarker of alcohol, it is the most accurate blood test to determine alcohol abuse. PEth can be detected in the blood after 1–2 hours following a single drinking episode. Detection can also last for up to 12 days. W
PEth (Phosphatidylethanol) testing is a highly effective method for detecting alcohol consumption. Because PEth is a direct biomarker of alcohol, it is the most accurate blood test to determine alcohol abuse. PEth can be detected in the blood after 1–2 hours following a single drinking episode. Detection can also last for up to 12 days. We collect the blood sample using the "dry blood spot" method. A small amount of blood is collected from a fingertip using a lancet, then applied to filter paper. Once it dries, it is sent to lab for testing.
