Legal Tests are done for legal purposes. We recommend this test to any man who has a child with a woman he is not married to, rather he has doubts or not.
In the case where a baby is born to unmarried parents, the alleged father has no legal rights until paternity is established.
Legal paternity testing is essential when paternity questions arise in legal contexts, such as custody disputes, child support cases, visitation, birth certificate, etc. This testing follows strict protocols to ensure the results are admissible in court. The process involves collecting DNA samples under the supervision of a qualified professional. Proper documentation is also maintained throughout the process to establish the chain of custody.
The accuracy of legal paternity tests is comparable to standard DNA tests, often exceeding a 99.9% probability of paternity when the alleged father is the biological parent. Courts often require this testing to resolve disputes, making it a critical step in legal proceedings. Before undergoing legal paternity testing, individuals should consult with a legal professional to understand the implications of the results and how they may affect their situation. This foresight can help mitigate surprises and prepare for the potential legal outcomes based on the test results.

Non Legal tests are taken specifically for your “peace of mind”. If you just need to uncover the truth, no strings attached, then this is the option for you. The results of this test will not be court admissible. This test can be requested or done by anyone. There is no legal paperwork filed and the results are just for you. We only need to test alleged father and the child. Mom is not required but it is highly suggested that she test too.

-Non DOT Urine Drug Screens; 5, 10, 12 panel (Requested by your employer for any reason)

We offer the following DNA Testing:
Paternity Test (Legal and Non Legal)
With this test, results can be used in court to support any legal matter such as child support, birth certificate amendment etc. All parties need to be present for this test.
Siblingship DNA Test (Legal and Non Legal)
If the alleged father deceased, missing, unavailable or unwilling to test, and he has other children that could possibly be the sibling of the child in question, his other child(ren) can be tested with this option. It is recommended that the mother(s) partake in this test for higher accuracy of your results.
Avuncular (Auntie/Uncle) DNA Test (Legal and Non Legal)
If the alleged father is deceased, missing, unavailable, or unwilling to test, but has a brother or sister that is willing to test, we can test the potential aunt or uncle with their niece or nephew to help determine a biological relationship. This test will let us know if the child in question has any relation to the alleged father's sibling. It is recommended that the mother partakes in this test is available for higher accuracy.
Grandparents DNA Test (Legal and Non legal)
*This is the most popular test when the alleged father deceased*
If the alleged father is deceased, missing, unavailable, or unwilling to be tested and one or both of his parents are willing to perform a Grandparent DNA test, we can test one or both of the paternal parents to determine if there is any relation to the child in question. It is recommended that the child's mother partakes in this test for higher accuracy, but only ONE paternal parent is needed.
Non Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP)Test
Non-invasive prenatal paternity testing (NIPP) is a groundbreaking method that allows expecting mothers to determine paternity before the child is born. This test can be performed as early as the 8th week of pregnancy and involves drawing a blood sample from the mother. The sample contains cell-free fetal DNA, which is compared to the DNA of the alleged father. Since the test only requires a blood sample from the mother and a cheek swab from the father, it poses no risk to the fetus, making it a safer option than invasive procedures.
NIPP is particularly appealing to couples who wish to resolve paternity questions early in the pregnancy or want to prepare for the child’s arrival.
Peek A Boo Gender Reveal Test
This is a super exciting, and fast way for expectant mothers to determine their baby's gender without the use of any harmful procedures. This test can be used to determine the gender of the baby at as early as 8 weeks of pregnancy. Most OBGYN offices will not check for the baby's gender until around 16-20 weeks. We simply draw a blood sample from the mother. Her DNA will tell us if she is having a boy or girl. This allows you to plan gender reveal parties, and/or go shopping as early as possible. It also gives you peace of mind, because lets face it. We want to know the gender as soon as we know we are pregnant! And this test allows you to do just that.

The mother does not need to be present for neither legal, nor non-legal paternity testing. The father can give consent for the child.
In the case of grandparent or aunt/uncle testing, the mother would need to be present to give consent for her child to be tested. She would need to sign consent forms.
If the mother does not have custody of the child, then we would need the custodial parent/legal guardian to give consent.
Its is always recommend that we include the mother in the actual test to strengthen the results, but it is not necessary that she participates.
We also need picture ID of everyone over 18 being tested or giving consent.
